 |  La Tranche sur Mer Western Loire | A popular, family-run parc next to the longest beach in the Vendée - ideal for younger children. Camping Bel is a small parc, just a short stroll from La Tranche-sur-Mer, with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The gently shelving beach nearby is ideal for swimming, windsurfing or simply relaxing. Poplar trees provide shade throughout, making the parc a popular choice. The facilities are extremely well maintained and you can spend long carefree days relaxing on the sun terrace by the attractive pool. The sports facilities include half tennis courts and an outdoor fitness course. |
 | L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer Western Loire | Bel-Air: a lovely camp site in the Vendée on the west coast of France, in the southernmost part of the region, about half way between Nantes and Bordeaux close to La Rochelle. Camping Bel-Air is situated close to the lovely sandy beach (1.8 km) at L'Aiguillon-sur-Mer on the Atlantic Ocean where there is also a water theme park. There is a lake for swimming and surfing just 800 metres away. Not bad for a start! The pitches on the level grounds at Bel-Air camp site are marked out by hedges and barbecuing is allowed, assuming you don't want to indulge yourself in the restaurant. |
 |  L'Aiguillon sur Mer Western Loire | Camping Bel Air is located between La-Tranche-sur-Mer and La Rochelle. It has a covered heating swimming pool, an outside pool, waterslide, jacuzzi, children's pool and more! There's also a playground, children's club, party hall, table tennis, petanque area and a gym. The campsite has a shop, restaurant and a pleasant terrace where you can enjoy an ice cream or a drink. In the evening there are regular 'dinner dances' and themed nights in the large party hall. There's also a friendly bar. You can sail, swim and fish close by. A bit further away are many beautiful beaches with fine sand. |
 | Givrand Western Loire | Camping Domaine de Beaulieu is located about three kilometres outside Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. A nicely set out campsite with beautiful facilities. There's a swimming pool, people of all ages are sure to enjoy themselves here. In 2007 a superslide was added to the pool area and now there's also a jacuzzi for even more water fun. Tennis and volleyball are both possible. The mini golf is good fun too. This region is perfect for cycling, take your own bike or hire one at the campsite. The beaches of the Atlantic Ocean are situated about a kilometre from the campsite. |
 | Olonne-sur-Mer Western Loire | This campsite is divided in two sections separated by a road. There's a bar, snack bar, entertainment and plenty of activities to choose from. The modern swimming pool complex has recently been built. It covers more than 500 sq m inside and out, offering lots of play options. The kids will love it! Camping Domaine de l'Orée also has a tennis court, jeu de boules and offers cycle hire. There's a good entertainment programme with a mini-club for children from 4-10 years of age with a circus, music shows, karaoke and disco. |

 | St Julien-des-Landes Western Loire | A small parc set in the grounds of a beautiful 19th century château. La Forêt is a ten-minute walk from the village of St Julien-de-Landes, with a peaceful, rural setting in the parklands of a château. It has the feel of a country estate, offering shady pitches and facilities for the whole family. There's plenty of space for the children to play, and two pools set either side of the château. There are three lakes for fishing and attractively converted ivy-clad stables house the bar and all of the main facilities. As you approach the magnificent château through an avenue of poplar trees, you'll be impressed by the beautiful, peaceful setting. The parc is only one mile from St Julien des Landes and fifteen minutes drive from the beach. The lovely lake behind the château, surrounded by woodland and green meadows, provides an idyllic setting for hiring a pedalo. The château's estate buildings have been tastefully converted and now house a bar and restaurant. There is also a new covered pool and baby's play pool. |

La Grand'Métairie is located in the village Saint Hilaire-la-Foret. The campsite lies only five kilometres from the beaches of the Vendée The ones in Saint Vincent-sur-Jard are the closest. Don't be surprised if your children prefer to stay in the campsite's large pool complex all day. In addition to a heated outdoor pool and a children's pool, there's an indoor pool and a separate pool with water-rapids through the 'rocks' and a waterfall. Although medium in size, the campsite still has a tennis court, sports ground, fitness room and a playground for small children. |
 | Olonne-sur-Mer Western Loire | The beautiful beach of Sauveterre is only a 1,5 kilometres walk through the forest. But the campsite itself also has a lot to offer. The tropical water paradise with a childrens pool and waterslides plus an excellent indoor pool with childrens pool and even more waterslides. The terrace near the pool is a sought after spot where everyone can meet. Nearby are the bar and the restaurant. The children can play table tennis or jump on the trampoline, while the little ones enjoy the play garden. You can enjoy sport in many ways at camping La Loubine; you can play basketball, badminton or pétanque. |
 | St-Hilaire-de-Riez Western Loire | Camping La Plage is ideally located for a beach holiday. This pleasant family campsite with good, modern facilities is located between St-Hilaire-de-Riez and Les Sables d'Olonne in a lovely dune area, surrounded by woods. From the campsite you can reach the beach in a few minutes via the dunes. You just have to cross a road and you're there in minutes. At the campsite there are two large swimming pools, one of which has top class waterslides. In the low season there's also the large indoor pool. It's a pleasant walk along the Corniche Vendéenne, between the campsite and Saint-Gilles. |
 | St-Hilaire-de-Riez Western Loire | Although camping La Puerta del Sol sounds very Spanish, you will be staying on the French Vendée coast. It has a lovely climate (during the summer almost as many hours of sun as the Côte d'Azur), but it's a lot closer. The bustling beaches are within easy driving distance and there's plenty to do for everyone. There's a spacious, heated swimming pool with childrens pool where water polo is played and aqua gym is taught. Evening entertainment is plentiful (karaoke, concerts and a disco), but all at a reasonable distance from the accommodation. The childrens club is available for children 3 years of age and upwards. |
